|What is Two-Factor Authentication?|| |
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security process in which the user provides two means of identification from separate categories of credentials; one is typically a physical code (generated by the Authy app or by Google Authenticator), and the other is something memorised, such as a password.
The intention is to provide stronger protection against unauthorised access to user accounts.
2FA is used by many organisations to add an additional layer of security to sensitive IT applications and VPN access.

Contact the IT team to deactivate your old codes.
Then reinstall Authy or Google Authenticator on your new smartphone.
